Obituary of MONEY – Lorraine Mary

October 11, 1933 – February 4, 2010 Lorraine Mary Money, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Born in Calgary on October 11, 1933, Mary grew up in Black Diamond and moved to Calgary after high school where she worked and taught as a comptometer operator. After marrying Chuck, Mary devoted her energy to her home and family. Her passion was golf and she served a term as Ladies Club President during her long standing membership at Earl Grey Golf Club. Mary enjoyed many golf vacations in Phoenix, St. George, Palm Springs as well as multiple Hawaiian trips. Mary is the dear mother of Paula (Steve) Chase and Suzanne (Todd) Chuckry. She is the cherished Meme to her five grandchildren, Gregory (Jenny) and Geoffrey Peden and Scott, Christopher and Ashley Chuckry. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Beverley (Frank) Casorso and Virginia (Ron) Marra, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Chuck, and her parents, Arthur and Evelyn Cobb. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Private Family Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
