Obituary of ROSSI – Shirley Eileen

August 28, 1932 – February 4, 2010 Shirley Eileen Rossi passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her husband Olindo Rossi in 2001. Shirley was born in Charlottetown, PEI on August 28, 1932, and came to Calgary in 1959. She enjoyed coffee with her friends, bingo, and working Saturdays with Roma Catering until she was no longer able to do it. She had many friends over the years, and will be missed by all who knew her. Shirley will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Monika; and her daughters, Dianna (Tim), and Susan (Iggy). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Anthony, Melissa, Roberto, Rebecca, Sarah, Stephanie, and Kiara. She is also survived by two siblings, Gen and David, and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
