Obituary of DE VRIES – Marian

July 14, 1940 – February 3, 2010 Marian Jane (De Jong) de Vries, wife, mother, and grandmother was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Simon, and children, Leona Pauline de Vries Klymchuk (Travis), Brian Daniel de Vries (Darlene) and Christopher Timothy de Vries; and the two precious grandchildren, Aiden and Kalib Klymchuk. Other family members who are saddened by Marian’s passing are her brothers, Donald De Jong (Arlene) and David De Jong (Faye); and sister Eunice De Jong Lanting (Harry). A special thank you is extended to her dear cousin, Greta Bylsma, whose love and compassion for Marian is very much appreciated. Marian’s musical talents as church organist, pianist, and soloist have given many people much joy and happiness. She used her talents to praise her Lord, and is now blessed to praise God forever. Funeral Services will be held at Centennial Presbyterian Church (103 Pinetown Place N.E.) on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
