Obituary of HILLMAN – Shirley Margaret

December 4, 1931 – February 2, 2010 It is with great sorrow (sadness) that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, mother in-law, grandmother, sister, and aunt. On Tuesday, February 2, 2010 Shirley Margaret Hillman (Morris) passed away suddenly at Peter Lougheed Hospital. Shirley was born in Lethbridge Alberta, December 4, 1931. Bill and Shirley were married in Lethbridge and together they raised three daughters and a son. In her earlier years she enjoyed teaching dance and preschool aged students. She had a true love for singing and music, she also cherished gardening and the beauty of flowers. Bill and Shirley shared many years and adventures together with ‘Hillman Novelties’ through travel and work she touched the lives of many. Shirley you are an inspiration to everyone you touched, we will always remember your laughter and smile as you are in our hearts forever. Beloved wife of 60 years Bill Hillman, and loving mother to Patricia O’Brien, Rodney (Shannon) Hillman, Deborah (Terry) Thibodeau, Bonnie (Paul) Pellicano and a loving grandmother to Michelle and Nicholas Pellicano. She is also survived by her sisters, Lil (Art) Krause, Sandra (Ken) Daly, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Following will be a memorial reception at the Pellicano residence.
