Obituary of REISINGER – Phyllis Mary

September 9, 1933 – February 2, 2010 Phyllis Reisinger, beloved wife of Don Reisinger of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Born and raised in Edmundston, NB, Phyllis attended Mount Allison University before marrying her husband Don in 1956. By way of Regina and Fort St. John, they came to Calgary in 1960 and raised two fine sons here. Phyllis had a passion for her flower garden in the summer, adored her dogs, and enjoyed many trips south to Palm Springs and San Diego. Phyllis never did anything halfway and always made others feel special. Christmas was one of her favorite things and she loved making it magical for the rest of us. She was an exceptionally good cook, a “chocoholic”, a voracious reader, enjoyed classic movies and loved a good crossword puzzle. She was one of the few people who secretly enjoyed doing their income tax and playing with numbers. Phyllis was our “constant”, the one we could always count on, she will be deeply and sadly missed. She is survived by Donald, her loving husband of 53 years, and their two sons Brett (San Diego) and Craig (Vancouver); grandson Tyler; her brother Everett (Toronto); and “like a daughter” Tracie.
