Obituary of KOTOWSKI – Martin August Anton

August 15, 1958 – February 1, 2010 It is with deep sadness that his family announces the unexpected passing of Martin August Anton Kotowski at his home of natural causes. He was the first born child of Maria and Heinz Kotowski. Martin worked for the City of Calgary for over thirty years. He loved his job as a safety advisor, was actively involved in Cupe 38 and volunteered for years at the truck rodeo and as security for Global Fest. He loved his truck and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted son, loyal friend, compassionate and caring father, brother and uncle. He made it his mission in life to help people whenever and wherever he could: He had a Servant’s heart. His generosity of time and expertise is well known. He gave of himself wholeheartedly and will be dearly missed. He is survived by Tammy and Tanya, of his first marriage to Judy and by John, of his long term second marriage to Heather. A Celebration of Martin’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. “Martin Stories” as well as condolences are welcome.
