Obituary of ANDREW – Janet Elizabeth

October 19, 1939 – February 1, 2010 Janet Elizabeth Andrew (formerly Janet Hogg) of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the age of 70 years, from Angio Sarcoma that was diagnosed July 12, 2007. Janet was born October 19, 1939 in Brampton, ON to Margaret Irene and Rev. Berton F. Andrew. The family moved extensively with her father’s ministry. One of Janet’s favourite memories was of a mango tree in Guyana where she and her sister Heather sat and Heather read “Heidi” to Janet. She began employment with TransCanada Pipelines as an Executive Assistant and was transferred to Calgary in 1990 where she retired and lived until her passing. Janet was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her sister Heather and her family. She will be missed and remembered by her dear friends.
