Obituary of LALLY – John Joseph

November 07, 1957 – January 30, 2010 John Lally passed away in Calgary on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the age of 52 years. John was a devoted and proud father to his son Chris and his daughter Erin. He is survived by his wife Paula and his mother Margaret. John was predeceased by his father John Sr. John will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends, particularly his father-in-law Bill Maskery and his brother-in-law Mike Maskery (Sandra) and his nephew and niece, Josh and Holly. John was born in Ontario where he worked as a tennis pro to put himself through an undergraduate degree at the University of Ontario. John went on to work at IBM, eventually moving his family to Calgary where he worked with Xerox, SAIT and Axys Environmental, Jacques Whitford, and Stantec. John spent numerous years volunteering for Calgary Minor Hockey and cheering on his two children who shared his love for the sport. He was also an accomplished, self-taught musician; a talent he ensured he passed along to his daughter.
