SLATER Marjorie Ellen

Obituary of SLATER – Marjorie Ellen

June 27, 1933 – January 24, 2010 It is with great love in our hearts that we say goodbye to Marjorie Ellen Slater. Marjorie passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Marjorie has left us to meet with her late husband (Bradley Slater), her daughter (Marilyn Klein), her parents, and her best friend Duey dog. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Kirby and Donna LePla; brother, Vernon Bunyan; sister Lorraine Bunyan; five grandchildren, Royce Kirby, Jesper Klein (Lucy Walker), Heather Kirby, Kelita Klein and Bronwyn Le Pla; three sons-in-law, Randy Kirby, Soren Klein and Jamie Le Pla; and two great-grandchildren, Axel and Lilliah Klein. Marjorie was such a sweet and loving person. She always did what she thought was best and never batted an eye. She took time out of her life to look after all of her daughters in their time of need and help raise all of her grandchildren. Grandma always told her children and grandchildren to give it some elbow grease. Marjorie loved to travel and was fortunate to be able to visit many great places around this world. She made one special friend on a trip and continued to travel with her. On one of her recent trips to British Columbia, she visited with Kelita – “She was such a sweet, modest, fun and just amazing person. I took her for her first pedicure at a spa in August when she came to visit me and she said it was her first pedicure in her life and I’ll never forget her laughing so much in the chair from being so ticklish” We all love you so much and you will be greatly missed. Thank you so much for all that you have done for all of us. xoxox No service will be held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
