Obituary of DEL PAPA – Mario

April 18, 1943 – December 30, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Del Papa. Born in Agnone, Italy, he made Calgary his home in 1962 and developed an excellent reputation as a carpenter and craftsman. He was loyal, compassionate and generous. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family and was always there to lend a helping hand. He liked to cook, garden and make wine. Mario made an important contribution to many lives in his own special, simple, quiet way. He nursed his beloved wife Evelyne through her long illness and was predeceased by her in August. Mario is survived by many people who loved him dearly, including his daughter Kristina and her husband Darren Sagan; a son Daniel and grandson Vincent; sisters Dina, Giuseppina, Lucia, and Gemma, and many nieces and nephews.
