Obituary of VETTERS – Marion Irene

May 13, 1929 – December 29, 2009 Marion Irene Vetters of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital after a brief illness, on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the age of 80 years. Marion was born on May 13, 1929, in Macleod, AB. Her life was devoted to being a loving wife to Norm of fifty-five years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Brenda Wiltshire of Calgary, Valerie (Bruce) Kirby of Edmonton and Terri (George) Lache of North Vancouver, B.C., as well as five grandchildren, Carol Hands (Andy), Chris Cottingham, Tera Kirby, Michelle (Edward) Everard and Mark (Tina) Meikle. Marion will also be remembered by her great-grandchildren (“Deed’s Kids”), Mackenzie Cottingham, Bailey Marno, Devon and Hayden Everard, Alex and Samantha Meikle, Giordano De Rosa; two sisters, Geraldine Mortimer, Barbara Lechuk and brother-in-law Pete Lechuk.
