Obituary of CLOAREC – Francine Marie

March 3, 1917 – December 19, 2009 Francine Cloarec passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Francine was born and grew up in Swift Current, SK, where she completed her general education, followed by teacher training in Moose Jaw, SK. This was later supplemented by a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan – Regina. Francine began her teaching career in southern Saskatchewan rural schools before moving to Regina where she was employed by the Regina Separate School Board for many years. Following her retirement in 1975, she moved to Calgary. Francine is survived by her brother John of Swift Current; her sister Val of Calgary; and her sister-in-law Marie of Camrose. She will be dearly missed by all of her beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Canada and the United States. Francine was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Joseph; her sisters Marguerite, Jeanne and Josephine; her brother Joe; sister-in-law Doris; brothers-in-law Clyve Greabeiel and Sid Kennedy; as well as nephew John Cloarec. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14 Street S.W.) on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
