Obituary of McNEILL – Vera Elizabeth

August 23, 1929 – December 14, 2009 Vera, loving mother to Lynn Pollock and Jacquie and Don Langer, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Her grandchildren Reid, Jayne, Jessica and Jill will truly miss the loving care and gentle humour of their “grandma”. Vera was predeceased Valentine’s Day 2008, by her husband and love of her life, Jim. She is also survived by two of her sisters, Gladys (Pat) Pattison and Fran (Bill) Danylczuk of Saskatoon; sisters-in-law Edna Hunt of Calgary and Dot Jackson of St. Catharines; brother-in-law Ernie Beers of Vancouver and numerous nieces and nephews. Vera has requested there be no Funeral Service and the family wishes to respect her decision. Vera’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of Carewest Sarcee Hospice for their compassionate care of Mom during the last few months of her life.
