Obituary of KNIGHT – Viola

April 4, 1921 – December 13, 2009 Viola Knight of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the age of 88 years after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Vi will be lovingly remembered as a women who loved her family, curling, baking (awesome cook) and winters in Phoenix with many good friends. Vi is survived by her three children; Shan (Judy) Knight, Eldon (Darlene) Knight and Marvin (Shelley) Knight as well as eight grand children; Shelly (Rick) Miller, Larry (Sharna) Lang, Deanna Lang, Rob Knight, Denise (Wayne) Mullett, Karen (Allan) Metzger, Corine (Bruce) Bushfield and Michael (Erin) Knight as well as eleven great grandchildren and a sister Donna (Bob) Gordon, three brothers; Harold (Audrey) McKay, Eliel (Helen) McKay and Glen (Norine) McKay. Vi was predeceased by her husband Bob Knight in 1979; daughter in law Kay Knight in 2000 and sister Gerry Keim in 2005. Graveside Service will be held at Crossfield Cemetery, Crossfield, AB on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
