Obituary of STOCHINSKY – Eddie

July 30, 1930– December 7,2009 Eddie Stochinsky of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2009. He was born in Edmonton on July 30, 1930 and later moved to Calgary. Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan McCallum of Calgary and parents Esther and Max Stochinsky of Edmonton. He was the loving father of Ron (Elaine) Stochinsky, grandfather of Ryan Stochinsky and Michael McCallum, brother of Evelyn (Dave) Viner, Sepa Kaplan, and Abe Stone, uncle and great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and a good friend to many. .He valued his time spent with his many friends and family and was especially devoted to his two grandsons. Funeral service will be held at Beth Tzedec Synagogue (1325 Glenmore Trail, S.W.) today, Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Jewish Cemetery (30 Avenue and Erlton Street, S.W.).
