Obituary of Annie Conran
After a long life well lived, Annie Conran passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years.
Born in Forest Lawn, Annie was proud of her Ukrainian heritage, and was passionate about her garden, sewing, cross stitch and her dislike of Gretzky. We will all miss her famous apple pies.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Julia Meeder, Frank (Jan) Golembrosky and Andrew (May) Conran, grandchildren; Shanta, Ksenia, Kevin, Renee and Kurt (The Baby), ten great-grandchildren, brother Harry (Elsie) Chaba, sister Stella Marnoch, many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was predeceased by her husband Joe, five sisters and two brothers.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Graveside Service will be held at Queens Park Cemetery (3219, 4 Street NW) on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Granny loved flowers, any and all graciously accepted.
