With love and fondest memories, we announce the passing of Michael Francis Livingston at the age of 42 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mike is survived by his daughter Molly and Molly’s Mom, Shauna Thompson; brother Jim Livingston; sister Susan Fankhauser (Andy) as well as his niece Kelsey; and nephews; Curtis, David, Christopher, Scott, and Matthew. Mike was born and raised in Calgary and loved the Kananaskis area having spent several years working in the mountains. Mike greatly valued his "Kane’s Harley Davidson" family and truly loved his position as parts man. It was his "dream job".
Mike’s sense of humour, his ability to accept others for who they are and his contagious smile and quirky raised eyebrow will be greatly missed but forever remembered. Mike’s warm heart touched us all and made us feel loved and appreciated. Mike’s strength of character became evident as he fought the cancer with the determination and attitude of a true hero.
