Obituary of Tyler Joseph Richard Hewitt
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Tyler. Life is so short for some, as it was for him, passing at the age of 26 years. He was doing what he loved to do. Tyler grew up in the Millarville area and was always a person that loved to push the envelope in any activity, give me a challenge was his motto. In his words “Just a chill guy who is out to have a good time with his friends and family- GO REALLY BIG OR REALLY FAST.” He achieved his private pilot license while with the Foothills 187th Air Cadet Squadron at 17. His passions were skiing and motor cycling which he and his brother both started at an early age. His love of skiing brought him to teach at Wintergreen and Canada Olympic Park. In 2007, Tyler joined Nestle Canada and found a whole new life and career ahead of him which he looked forward to.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Carol and Tom; his brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Tanis and their daughter Janna; Aunt Lil and Uncle Tony Olivieri; cousins, James (Nancy), Adrianna and Anthony; and his godmother Agnes Ball. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Viola and Joseph Richard and Robert and Eileen Hewitt, cousin Adrian Olivieri, and his godfather Arthur Ball.
