Her favourite jobs were with Sunkist as a produce buyer and S & C Electric as an office manager. In 1989 she married Paul O’Gorman and joined him in moving to Drayton Valley. She increased her education with an accounting certificate and began working for Scotia Bank as a mortgage officer. Ann Marie and Paul then returned to Calgary. Ann Marie gave birth to their son Trevor in 1992. She re-entered the work force after training for an IT Help Desk position, a role she cherished. Throughout her career it was her love of working with people that helped her stand out as an employee and co-worker. She made new friends constantly and kept those friendships alive.
