Obituary of Maurice Bernard

Mac MacDonald, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009, after a determined battle with cancer. Mac is survived by his loving partner Carla Beardsell; his dad Bernie (Sylvia); brothers, Terrance (Sue), Ranald and Wilfrid; nieces; nephews; and their families. He was predeceased by his mother Rita. Mac worked in his early years with Bell Canada and later as an insurance underwriter for Mutual Life. He had many interests, including politics, knifemaking and being a skydiving coach. Mac also volunteered at James Fowler and SAIT with the machining courses held for gun hobbyists. He was most proud of his years of service in the Reserves and reaching the rank of Captain. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
