Obituary of Allan Cornish

Allan William Cornish of Calgary passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the age of 73 years. He was born in High River, AB on February 22, 1936, and grew up in Nanton. Allan was employed by the Calgary Herald for eleven years. He enjoyed his work, and retired in 1992. He also enjoyed wood working. Allan is survived by his wife Joan Konschuh and her family; three sisters, Barb Morrison, Muriel Ronak, Gertrude McInnes; brother Dr. David Cornish; brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Janette Cornish; sister-in-law Joan Cornish; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Annie and William Cornish, and brothers Maurice, Frank, Dr. Sidney, and Charles.
