Obituary of Elizabeth Victoria Brigden

Elizabeth Brigden beloved wife of Norman of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 in her home at the age of 70 years. Elizabeth was born to John and Mary Semeniuk on July 30, 1938 in Myrnam, AB. She married Norman Brigden on March 31, 1962, and together they made their home in Calgary. Besides her loving husband Norman, Elizabeth is also survived by her children, Shelly Blackmore (Garry) of Port Union, NL, Ken Brigden (Monika) of Calgary, AB, Malcolm Brigden of Grand Prairie, AB; Stepchildren, Becky Goodwin, (Tim) of Howard, PA, Teri Morris (Gus) of Asheville, NC, Joe Brigden of Asheville, NC; seventeen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Olga Wasylycia, Ann Strap; brother, Joe Semeniuk (June); and by many other family members that loved her dearly. Funeral Services will be held at RockPointe Church (12 Bowridge Drive N.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
