Obituary of Murray Pauling Drope

Murray, beloved husband of Jill Sveinson, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the age of 50 years. Murray was born in Barrie, Ontario on January 11, 1959. He moved to Calgary in 1973 and made it his home. He valued spending time with family and friends. Murray was in the restaurant business for many years, he was always a man who worked and played hard. Murray was full of compassion and lit up the lives of many people, he is now at peace. Murray is survived and will be missed by his wife Jill; daughter Rachel; his parents Murray and Patricia Drope; brothers David Drope, Bill (Mandy) Drope, John (Faye) Drope; nephews Jeremy, Sean and Shelby; as well as niece Natalie. Murray also shared a close relationship with his aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Canada, Funeral Services will be held at Parkdale United Church (2919 – 8th Avenue N.W.) on Friday, May 15 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
