Obituary of Gerry Whitney

Whitney – S. Gerry (Jay) August 4, 1919 – October 30, 2008 Gerry (Jay) Whitney, beloved husband of Isabel Whitney of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Gerry was born in Foremost, AB and has resided in Calgary since 1945. Besides his loving wife of fifty-five years, Gerry is survived by four sons, Monty (Cindy), Gordon (Linda), Craig (Joyce), and Ken (Carrie); ten grandchildren, Clayton and Stacy, Scott and MacKenzie, Laura and Kendall, Deidra, Rachel, Grant and Morgan; and three great-granddaughters, Tiyanna, Larissa and Trinity. He is also survived by a sister Susan McTighe; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Private Family service was held on Saturday, November 1, 2008.
