Obituary of Lance Hembree

God saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered, “Peace be thine.” It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lance Hembree announce his passing on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the age of 86. Lance was a devoted husband and family man who treasured the time spent with his loved ones. Lance will be deeply missed by his wife Joan, the love of his life; his children, Sharon (Gerry), Elouise (Jim), Christine (Ken), and Tom (Lynda); and his grand and great-grandchildren. Jean Peacock, his sister, also held a special place in his heart. Lance had a gentle disposition, a wonderful sense of humour and to know him was to love him.
