Andrew Porky Stimson

Obituary of Andrew Colin Porky Stimson

Andrew Colin (Porky) Stimson went home to be with our Creator suddenly on Sunday, April 6, 2008 on the Siksika Nation at the age of 39 years. Andrew was a very gentle, outgoing private person, who took great pride in his traditional art work which he displayed in his drawings. He was a ‘hands on’ person that could put anything together without really stressing or following instructions. As an entrepreneur, he displayed his artwork on the internet with Siksika Entrepreneur. He was planning to enroll at Old Sun Community College to do some upgrading so that he could go into art school, which was one of his dreams. Andrew was always with his son Malcolm, a splitting image, both known for wearing black hoodies. Porky especially enjoyed teasing his siblings and loved walking around visiting relatives. Andrew will be sadly missed by his sons Malcolm Stimson and Christian Eagle Child; Brothers, Dan (Maria), Jordon (Sophia), Horton, and Jason; Sister, Diane (Harvey) Stimson; Aunties Ruby Doore, Audrey McMaster, Alice Weasel Child, Mary Bull Bear, Justine, Yvonne and Elizabeth Stimson, Eve Yellow Old Woman, Florence Back Fat, Cordell Crane Bear, and Alice Big Snake; Uncles Roy (Joan) Stimson, Adrian (Leslie) Stimson Sr., Tom Crane Bear, Wilton Raw Eater, Robert (Josephine) Wolf Leg, Norman (Elizabeth), Robert (Judy), Gregory (Ethel) and Roy (Jackie) Running Rabbit.
