Obituary of Loreen Mildred Dreher

Loreen Mildred Dreher, beloved wife of Carl of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the age of 72 years, after the courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Loreen was born and raised in Regina, SK and moved to Calgary, where she met and married Carl. They were married for forty-nine happy years. Loreen worked for the Calgary Board of Education at Western Canada High School for many years. Upon retiring, Loreen and Carl enjoyed their extensive travels especially to their children’s homes. Loreen will be sadly missed and is survived by her loving husband and best friend of forty-nine years, Carl, her children, Jodi (Ken) Whiteside of North Vancouver and Brad (Marla) Dreher of Nelson, BC. Loreen is also greatly missed and survived by her sister Marilynn (Steve) Zaychuk of Calgary and their children Greg (Denise) Zaychuk of Nebraska and Stacie (Ray) Zaychuk of the Yukon, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Loreen was predeceased by her parents Mildred and George Yeomans of Regina. A Celebration of Loreen’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s “Park Memorial Chapel” (5008 Elbow Drive South West) on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
