Obituary of Scottie Daniels

Scottie Daniels, of Bearspaw Stoney Nation, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday February 13, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Scottie was born on the Stoney Nakoda Nation. He was raised with Stoney traditional and cultural values. Scottie was an avid hunter and had excellent horsemanship skills. He owning and training the famous bareback rodeo horse, Stoney Boy. He was kind and courteous to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his brothers Dave Daniels Sr. (Grace), Paul Daniels, sister Milly Daniels and his best friends Joyce Ball, Ronnie Bearspaw, Joey Kootenay and numerous nieces, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews. He also leaves to mourn his favourite great nephew Desi Holloway. He was predeceased by his father Paul Daniels, mother Lucy Daniels, brother Ken Daniels, numerous relatives, extended family Daniels, Ear, Bearspaw Lefthand Kootnay. Wake Services will be held at the residence of the late Scottie Daniels (Morley, AB) on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 17, 2008. A Funeral Service will be held at the Morley United Church ( Morley, AB) on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at the Bearspaw Cemetery.
