James Hall

Obituary of James Hall

After a long fight with illness, James Dennis Hall passed away quietly in his sleep Tuesday night after a wonderful visit with his family at the age of 46 years. James was born in London on October 17, 1961 moved to Calgary with his family in 1976. Always a brilliant man he has a quick wit which could light up any room. Even in the hours before his passing, he was joking with his brothers, dad, and favourite aunt Pat Dunleavy, who came to see him from Ontario. No one loves Jimmy more then his mother Monica, who spent her life ensuring he was comfortable and happy. Now she can also rest knowing he is in a better place where comfort and happiness surround him always. James is survived by his mother Monica, his step-dad Roderick (Rod), sister Betty (Ray), and two brothers Tim and Rodney (Amanda). Also, James is survived by three nieces Jayna, Megan and Emily and his newest nephew who is also his namesake Roderick James (RJ). Predeceased by his father Dennis. James’s passing will be mourned and celebrated by his friends and family from one coast of the country to the other. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday February 18, 2008 at 2:30p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
