Condolences
I am so saddened by the loss of my good friend and neighbor. Sharon lived next door for 43 years. As we all know, she was an amazing woman and I feel so honored to have enjoyed her friendship. We shared many special moments together and I will always treasure the memories. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Janice, Rob, Bob and their families. May you find love, strength and courage during the difficult time ahead.
On behalf of the volunteers, directors, dogs, and cats of the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Alberta, I would like to express my deepest condolences. We will truly miss Sharon, her lively personality, and her dedication to ARF.
I, personally, will miss the wonderful talks we had over the years, hee warmth, and her passion for volunteering.
Thank you for recognizing ARF and Sharon’s work with us during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. She was a happy soul. Gary and I recall with fondness our many visits with her and Joannie over the years out at the cabin at Sylvan. She loved spending time there. May she and Sandy rest in peace together in her little cabin in heaven.
We worked with Sharon for many years at Varsity Plymouth and Crowfoot Dodge. She was our friend and we will miss her. Rest in peace Sharon.
I wish to express my deepest condolences to my friend Bob Knipe on the loss of his beloved sister-in-law Sharon.
I met sharon several years ago thru Oil Wives. We got to know each other while serving on the board of directors. She was always happy to host a meeting, hug you if you needed it, and laugh with you if you needed that. Our elegant lady has now become our elegant angel. RIP my dear friend
Love peace and prayers to the family and her many many friends
We were truly saddened to hear that one of the nicest ladies ever has left us. Sharon was “one of a kind” and a special neighbor to my sister Rosemarie. Our family felt so welcome in her company. She inspired others with her warmth and kindness. It is comforting to know that the wonderful memories of the fun times we had with her will live on in our hearts forever. Sharon gave so much to her family and friends. Love and strength be with Sharon’s family and all those whose lives she touched.
Will truly miss my Oil Wife friend. She was a very special fun and supportive friend. Loved her dearly.
You lived next door to me my whole life, and you were like a second mom to me. I will never forget how you sat on the floor with me, and held me the day my dad passed away. You were a wonderful lady, and will be truly missed!

Sharon was a wonderful and caring friend and neighbor to my mother, Maureen Hill. She was a huge part of my mother’s life, and was irreplaceable as a source of news and support to our far-flung family when my mother was ill. Over the last two years of her own life, and as devastating news about her own health piled up, she did an exemplary job of acting as executor to my Mom’s estate – a job that certainly must have been full of challenges.
She was the definition of grace under pressure, and never lost her dignity, strength or sense of fun. I will miss her take on life, and the fun we had together.
I feel as though I have lost a sister, and I know she will be missed by so many others as well. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.
Sharon’s sparkle lit up the room at our Oil Wives conventions. This is where I met her. That beautiful smile drew you in… her warm heart enveloped you, and you never forgot how special she made you feel. She will be missed by so many.
My sincere and heartfelt sympathies to her family and all those who love her. An angel here on earth, is now an angel in heaven.
Sharon was a wonderful person and friend and she will be truly missed. My condolences go out to her family in this difficult time. She was truly ‘sparkly’!
Our sincerest condolences go to Sharon Knipe’s family. Sharon was indeed the most caring, inspirational woman I ever met. My aunt, Maureen Hill, introduced me to Sharon stating what a wonderful neighbour and friend she was. She was like family to Maureen. My family and I instantly fell in love with Sharon and after my aunt passed away, our friendship lived on. I was so sorry to learn of Sharon’s passing. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend her memorial due to being out of the province however, our deepest sympathy goes out to her family. She will live on forever in our hearts! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
