Obituary of Robert Warren

Robert Douglas (Bob) Warren, beloved husband of Hazel of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2007, at the age of 75 years. Robert was born on November 13, 1932 in Wabana, Bell Island and was one of ten children. Upon graduating from high school, he decided that he wanted to travel. As a young man Robert worked on Navy ships that traveled around the world. After his travels Robert joined the Armed Forces and proudly served with the Queen’s Own Riffle Regiment here in Calgary for four years. Robert then spent the next thirty-three years working for CP Rail. After Robert retired he and his loving wife Hazel became snow birds and they loved it. Robert was a member of the Army and Navy Branch for many years. His biggest passion was his family followed by old western movies, reading and he enjoyed the outdoors Robert is survived by his loving wife Hazel, by his daughter Karen (MacNeill), and by his brother George. He was predeceased by his five brothers and three sisters. A Private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
