Obituary of Irene Marie Mullen

Miss me but let me go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free It is with deep sadness that the family of Irene Marie Mullen announces her passing on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Irene was born in Winnipeg on February 6, 1931 and she married her husband Ken on January 26, 1952. They shared many wonderful years together until Ken’s passing. Since then, Irene’s greatest joy has come from the time that she spent with her family. It was fitting that Irene’s passing took place at home and in the presence of those who loved and admired her the most. At her side were her three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori-Anne and Bob Spiller, Maureen and Jeff Plimmer and Alana McKinney and her son and daughter-in-law Ken and Melanie Mullen. She will also be lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Ryan (Terri), Brandon Spiller, Amanda Mullen, Shelby McKinney and Taylor McKinney. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband Ken.
