Obituary of Betty Godwin

Betty will be deeply missed by her three children Pat, Barry and Joy (Ken); her seven grandchildren, Steven and Andrea, Danny and Jennifer, Kimberly, Kelly and Brian; five great-grandchildren and sister Gwen Renouf. Betty was predeceased by her husband Len in 1997 and daughter-in-law Susan in 2005. Betty was a kind and gentle soul who always has a smile for everyone that came into her presence. Her family meant everything to her. She loved to crochet, play card games and bingo, and will be remembered for her amazing cookies and pies. Betty cherished the memory of time spent playing cards and puzzles with her great-grandson Liam. We love you, and you will always be in our hearts. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. Interment will take place in the “Field Of Honour” at Queens Park Cemetery. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Harbours Newport Staff and especially Angie and Catherine.
