Obituary of John Deryk Bodington
Deryk Bodington passed away peacefully at Extendicare Cedars Villa on Tuesday, May 8,2007at the age of 93 years.
Deryk was a world class amateur photographer and an avid outdoors man, he continued these passions well into his nineties. In 1950 he became founding member of the Calgary Camera Club.
Deryk is survived by his loving wife Margaret of sixty-nine years and he will be lovingly remembered by his two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Bonnie Bodington and Wayne and Graciela Bodington; his grandchildren, Todd (Cheryl), Therese, Christopher (Heather-Marie) and Douglas and by his great-grandchildren TJ, Tiegan, Liam and Chloe.
Funeral Services will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 – 8th Street S.W.) on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
