Obituary of Rita Gitzel

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Rita Gitzel of Airdrie, who passed away after a brave battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 62 years. Rita is survived by her children, Liana (Rick) Halseth; Shane (Sharon) Gitzel; her four grandchildren Alicia, Shyla, Ashlynn and Kale; her five siblings Olee Wowk, Georg Wowk, Olivia Nykolyshyn, Marsha Jones, Irene Gaber, as well as extended family. Rita was predeceased by her father Stephan Wowk and mother Maria Rahnell.
