Obituary of AnnaBelle Cameron

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Abba. Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, we all remember as our friend. To remember Abba is to smile. Her zest for life was infectious to all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved to travel, sing and dance, watch dragonflies, but above all, to be with her family. Abba was born AnnaBelle McLean in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. She is survived by her sisters Peggy Johannesson and Wilma Currah; her brother Bill McLean; her son Wilfred (Anastasia); her daughter Patti-Anne Kay (Martin); her grandchildren Kelli, Alexandra, Maclean, Nicholas, Catherine, John, Mariya and Elizabeth; as well as her great-grandchildren William, Kai, Cailey, Keira and Alani. She was predeceased by her husband John McNaughton Cameron and her sister Lovette Anderson. “There are three things that last: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Thursday November 30, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Peter Doherty, Presider. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to give special thanks for the wonderful care provided by the nurses and staff of Unit 46 at the Rockyview Hospital and the exemplary care of Dr. Wong. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in AnnaBelle’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
