Obituary of Brian Evans

It is with deep sadness that the family of Brian Evans announces his passing on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 67 years of age. Brian was born on December 21, 1938 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is survived by his daughter Hayley (Shae); his son Darren (Suzie); his wife Audrey; and his precious grandchildren, Conor and Olivia. Brian is also survived by his loving sisters Patricia (Ed) of Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland and Thelma of Dunkeld, Scotland. Dad left us with many blessings of which we are thankful. Despite his many health challenges he still managed to maintain his sense of humour and warm heart. Dad greeted everyone with a warm hug and a kiss. He was a gifted pianist, an aviation enthusiast and he enjoyed his many hours of volunteering with both the Irish Cultural Society and the Pastoral Care Committee. He was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed his many friendships within the Irish community. He was also a very proud “Poppy” revelling in his grandchildren’s many talents and achievements.
