Obituary of Ollie Pryma

PRYMA – Ollie Elsie 1928 – 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Ollie, nicknamed T “O” by her nieces and nephews. Ollie passed away on January 5, 2006 at the Foothills Hospital with her family at her side. Ollie was born July 3, 1928 and raised in Regina, SK and worked at the Wheat Pool and Chevron Oil Company. She was transferred to Calgary by Chevron and worked in the Human Resources Department. Ollie was a warm, loving and compassionate person with a great sense of humour. Little children were a source of joy to her and she took great delight in entertaining them. Ollie loved to sing and was a member of the choir for many years. Ollie is survived by two sisters, Mary (Dan) Serbin of Regina; Valerie (Merv) Lowey of Calgary and one brother Bill Pryma of Regina; nieces Lynsey Lowey and Carmen Stacey; nephews Brent Serbin, Bob Hodgins, Brad and Mark Pryma and several great nieces and nephews as well as her brother-in-law John Hodgins and sister-in-law Wilma Pryma. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Katherine Pryma; sister Madeline Hodgins; brother Peter Pryma and a niece Ruth Kent. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 – 45th Street S.W.) on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverand Rendall Yakimec as Celebrant.
