Obituary of Frank Barbuto

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce Frank’s passing. Frank was born in Italy in 1937 and immigrated to Canada in 1954 – arriving in Calgary after spending five years in Montreal. He was a well known popular figure in the hospitality industry for many years, but had been plagued with health problems mainly due to diabetes in his later years. Frank is lovingly remembered by his loyal friend and companion of many years, Judy; his sister and brother-in-law, Fiurina and Renato; his son Dean and daughter, Andrea; mother of his children Frances. Frank was predeceased by his parents Rosa and Pietro and his beloved sisters Anna and Guiseppena. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. At Frank’s request a Graveside Service will follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
