Obituary of Edna Henderson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandma Edna Henderson of Calgary, on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the age of 72 years.
Edna Henderson was born on May 11, 1932 in Montreal, QC. She married Malcolm Henderson on October 10, 1953 in Montreal. They moved to Calgary in 1974. Edna was an IBM Operator in Montreal and worked for Sears and Cominco in Calgary. She loved her weekly trips to bingo.
Edna is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Glen, and Scott and Vicky; four grandchildren, Connor, Parker, McKenna, and baby Tess; and her brother Jack Parry. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years Malcolm in 2004; a sister Margaret; and brothers, Billy and Edward.
A Celebration of Edna’s Life will be held at Scott and Vicky Henderson’s Residence (225-1208) on Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
