Condolences
Dear Darlynn:
With the greatest respect, and love, I only recently learned of the passing of your father Bill. I loved your Dad!
I feel it incumbent to comment on his influence on my life as a respectful eulogy of his life.
Going back in history, I so appreciate that Bill embraced me on the second worst day of my life: namely April 1, 1989 (the first being January 14, 1989).
Your father held me as I tried to deal with your moving our of our condo. Bill tried to comfort me saying “how sorry he was as to our situation” as we hugged each other.
I was inconsolable to the events of January 14, 1989 that has had such an effect upon my life. This was, of course, the date of our after ‘New Years’ party upon our return from Calgary.
Bill always treated me with respect, and I understood his challenges in life. I honour his memory!
Please say hello to your brother Don — he is a good guy. I still have, and use, the brass Kleenex holder after all these years and use it every day.
With all my love,
Terry
