Obituary of Robert Ernest Wilson
Robert (Bob) Wilson went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on Friday, February 11, 2005 with his family at his bedside, at the age of 83 years.
Bob was born on June 12, 1921 in Glenela, MB, the youngest of five children. He served in World War II with the Royal Regina Rifles and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for thirty years. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Bob leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marion; his children, Bruce and Carol, Gerry and Tami, Doug and Varri, and Dennis and Kate; six grandchildren, Stacy, Kerri, Shannon, Chad, Kelly, and Lindsey; and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jaxon and Jude; as well as extended family, Carol Stevensen and Glenis Raffan. He was “Grampy” to Dora and Ester. Bob is also survived by two sisters, Kay Coles of Dryden, ON and Grace Wilson of Vernon, BC; and his brother Dick Wilson of Stonewall, MB. He was predeceased by his first wife Alice in 1978 and sister Gwen Sharpe in 2004.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
