Obituary of Jay Katherine McMaster
Jay Katherine McMaster of Siksika Nation, AB suddenly passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the age of 14 years.
Jay was born on April 19, 1990 and was known as a quiet, humorous, friendly, and loving young girl. She had many close friends whom she cherished along with her family and cousins. Jay also enjoyed listening to music, going for walks and being a “hair stylist” to her friends and family.
Jay is survived by her loving mother Renee McMaster and step-father Darcy Spotted Eagle; her father Ross Old Woman; aunties, Zena (Edwin) Calf Robe, Tammy, and Lennie (Cary); uncles, Dwayne Three Suns, Jason (Angel) Stevens, and Bobby (Dora); great-great aunt Nora A Young Man; great-great-uncles, Robert (Rosalyn) Breaker and Alex (Mary) Breaker; also a large extended family; cousins, uncles and aunts from the McMasters, Water Chiefs, Stevens, Breakers, Olds, Old Womans, and Yellow Old Womans. Jay was predeceased by her grandparents, Clement (2000), Vannie (1992), and Caroline (2001); uncles, Justin (1988), Jeffery Three Suns; great-grandparents, Irene (1994), and Patrick (1972). The family apologizes for anyone missed.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Renee and Darcy (Northcamp, Siksika Nation, AB) on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John The Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
