Obituary of Manuel Silva Bettencourt

Mr. Manuel Silva Bettencourt, beloved husband of Delminda of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Manuel was born on April 6, 1925 in Graciosa Azores, Portugal and came to Canada on May 4, 1967. Manuel and Delminda were married for fifty-four years. Besides his loving wife Delminda, Manuel is survived by his son John Bettencourt; grandchildren, Jamie and Cristal; brothers, Ermelindo, Jose, Antero, Albano, and David; sisters, Maria, Edwuina, Eugenia, Delfina, Ondina and Zulmira; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Manuel was predeceased by his father, Joao and his mother Delfina; brothers Raimondo and Joao; and sister Armandina.
