Obituary of Sharon Lea Drummond
Sharon Lea Drummond passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 51 years. Born on March 14, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, Sharon moved to Calgary in 1976. She enjoyed spending summers at the family cottage near Sarnia, ON.
Sharon is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, JD, Sarah and Katie; and her husband John. She also leaves her brother Michael; mother Marion; and special friends, cats Ruby and Rita. Sharon was predeceased by her father Merrill Hamburg.
A devoted poet, Sharon enjoyed her involvement in the Calgary writing community, where she will be deeply missed. She gave to her daughters in every imaginable way and leaves with them the enduring gift of her poetry.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, January 31, 2005 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev.
