Obituary of Joyce Rita McPeak
Joyce Rita (Gee Gee) McPeak, beloved wife of the late Merton Hollis McPeak of Saskatoon, passed away on January 26, 2005 at the age of 75 years.
Joyce was born on November 12, 1929 in Dundurn, SK. She and Merton were married on October 19, 1957 and lived in Saskatoon until moving to Calgary in 1987. Joyce enjoyed keeping a home and loved to garden. One of her great passions was for dogs.
She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Emma and Chuck Elliott of Edmonton and Marlene and George Topley of Calgary; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bill Trotchie, and Len and Joan Trotchie of Calgary. Joyce is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Merton; two brothers, Donald and Robert; two sisters, Alice and Joey; and mother Mary and father Patrick.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
