Obituary of William MacDonald Hamilton
William (Bill) MacDonald Hamilton of Calgary (formerly of Knowlton, PQ), passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the age of 89 years.
Bill was born on November 6, 1915 in Knowlton and lived most of his life in the eastern townships of QuÚbec. There he shared many years of his life with his one true love, Winnie, who passed away in 1996. Bill was a Railroad Engineer for the CPR in QuÚbec and Vermont. He was an outdoorsman and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing and hunting. Bill most enjoyed a simple drive to enjoy some scenery. Most of all Bill loved people. His smile and strong handshake said it all. Bill enhanced the lives of the many people that knew him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends in Alberta, QuÚbec, British Columbia, Vermont and New Hampshire.
“You are in our hearts, our prayers and our memories.
We love you Gramp.”
