Obituary of Agnes Hubbard
Agnes (Nan) Hubbard, beloved wife of Frank Hubbard of Didsbury, passed away at the Didsbury Long Term Care Centre on Monday, December 20, 2004 at the age of 76 years.
Nan was born in St. Ninians, Scotland on October 20, 1928. She was a Registered Nurse for over thirty years, working in London, England, Hamilton, ON and the Foothills Hospital. In her leisure time Nan enjoyed gardening, volunteering for Meals-on-Wheels and serving as the Secretary for the Royal Canadian Legion Chapelhow Branch #284, and the Royal Canadian Legion Airdrie Branch #288. She was always ready to offer a helping hand whenever it was needed.
Besides her loving husband Frank, Nan is remembered by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Rhoderick and Cindy of Calgary, and Ken and Wendy of Airdrie; her grandson Justin; and her sister Pat MacKenzie of Didsbury. She was predeceased by her mother Margot MacKenzie and sister Bunny Young.
