Obituary of Beatrice Maud Brosteaux
Beatrice Maud (Bea) Brosteaux of Calgary passed away at the Edgemont Retirement Centre on Friday, December 10, 2004 at the age of 99 years.
Bea dedicated much of her spare time playing organ for the many Parishes she has been involved with over the years. She also enjoyed playing bridge and bowling as hobbies, but she most enjoyed looking after her family.
Bea will be sadly missed by her family, children, Dolores Kostrosky of Acme, David and his wife Sandra Brosteaux of Sylvan Lake, and Beatrice and her husband John Charlton of Brooks; daughter-in-law Annadine Brosteaux; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Bea was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1991; and her son Desmond in 2004.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 12:30 pm with the Rev. L. Michael Storey Presider.
