Obituary of Asselina Hak
Asselina (Lien) Hak of Calgary passed away at the AgapÚ Hospice on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the age of 82 years.
Lien was born in 1921 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She loved music and was a choir member at the Calgary Community Reformed Church. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. She worked in the Tailor shop at Sears North Hill for many years and was a devoted grandmother.
Lien is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Jack Hak of Calgary; their three children, Lien and John Van Hal and Elzien and Johnny Schopman, all of Vauxhall, AB, and Jake and Sheila Hak of Calgary; as well as eight grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon and Peter, Michael and Karin, Ryan and Janna, James, Saskia, Simon, Sabrina, and Kelvin; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Analiese, Maegan, and Emma.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
